A new success story for Dr. Yassin Abdel Ghaffar’s institution with the care of children’s liver, the transplant process, and continuous follow-up throughout the patients’ lifetimes. This is one of the patients of the institution who underwent liver transplantation surgery and she is a child. And now she is 30 years old.

A special visit by Professor Doctor Dieder Killy, the head and founder of the Children’s Liver Unit at Birmingham Hospital in England, which is the largest pediatric liver unit in the United Kingdom.

The honoring of Professor Dr. Tawhida Yassin Abdel Ghaffar by the Minister of Health, in the presence of the prominent figures, Professor Dr. Magdy Yakoub and Professor Dr. Mohamed Ghanem, is considered a recognition of medical excellence and charitable work in Egypt.
